Apple introduced the iPhone 16e as a successor to the SE lineup, and today, it is officially on sale. The entry-level smartphone is available in 59 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, and the US.

The iPhone 16e does look like the iPhone 14 at the front and iPhone 8 at the back, but it has the latest A18 chip (even if binned). Apple also introduced its first modem C1 for satellite connectivity, Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My via Satellite.
